Our Trip to Charleston, SC

We had to opportunity to head to Charleston, SC, April 23-26. Chris and Beckett were in a wedding. One of Chris' best friends, Lee Michael, married a wonderful girl, Karin, and their wedding was just fantastic. The following posts are highlights from our trip. Thanks to Lee and Karin for a wonderful weekend! One of our favorite places we visited was the Aquarium. It was AWESOME! Beckett was in awe the entire time!
He thought this turtle was waving especially to him!
...And this crab, too!

This aquarium featured a "touch tank" and of course, Beckett was all over that!

Dinner at High Cotton

Beckett lasted 4 hours through the dinner, mostly by playing with his bugs. He has lined them up and Monk Monk is kissing each one!
Ice cream is so yummy!

U. S. S. Yorktown

We toured the U.S.S Yorktown battleship and it was so interesting!

Beckett found the ladybugs on the flight deck the most interesting!

The Ring Bearer

Is he not the most handsome ring bearer you have ever seen? We are getting ready to make our big debut! Just so you know, Monk Monk did not travel down the aisle with him. He stayed in Da-Da's pocket!

"Bear" Jr.

I mean if this is not the spitting image of his grandfather, Bear, I don't know what is!
This is his first trip down the aisle. He really did a great job being a first time ring bearer!

And, this is the second trip down the aisle, only this time, he tried to roll up the carpet!
Here is my man, dancing with me!

Dancing Machine and The Little Drummer Boy

We are having a great time at the reception! That's Beckett, second from left dancing with one of the flower girls! What was so funny was he went right up to her and grabbed her hand and went to town! We just laughed and laughed!
Ok, I could totally eat him! He decided to entertain during the band's intermission! Beckett befriended the drummer during the wedding. The drummer let him take over during their break!

He definitely loves music and he loves to dance!

Waiting for Bud and Sissy

Well, here we are waiting on a horse and carriage ride. Beckett befriended a rooster and a hen.
In this picture, Beckett is pointing out the hen's "eyes."
Beckett decided to share his cracker with his new friend.
The hen loved it! The carriage soon arrived. The two horses' names were Bud and Sissy. Bud and Sissy got very angry with one another and began to fight. They backed into the carriage and almost tipped it over! We all jumped out! One of the rubber wheels even fell off! Thank goodness Beckett and Da-Da were walking around and Ma-Ma was the only one who had to jump! It was quite scary but we all had a good laugh afterwards! We soon headed to the airport and caught our plane back to Memphis. We had a wonderful time in Charleston!

Just Like Da-Da

Beckett copies everything Chris does. Here he is pretending like he is Da-Da. Beckett loves to wear his tool belt and fill it with his tools. He "measures", "paints", and "hammers".

Beckett hanging with Da-Da...

Oh my goodness, could you just die? How precious are these pics?

This is a typical night at our house, just hanging on the couch, watching something on "Noggin." Beckett's favorites are "Wow, Wow, Wuzzby", "Dora the Explorer" and "Go Diego, Go!" They are sharing some big kisses too!

Snow tastes yummy!!!

These pics were just so adorable I had to post them all! This is Beckett on a "sled" sliding down a hill beside our house.

Here are some pictures of Beckett playing in his first ever snow day! We had so much fun that morning! Monk Monk was also along for the ride!

Beckett's 2nd Birthday!

So, I am a tad addicted to this blogging thing...I just had to post some pics from Beckett's 2nd birthday party. His birthday was March 20 and we had an "Under the Sea" party at his Peach's house. He loves crabs ("pops"), octopus ("ops"), and lobsters ("bobs") so of course we had to go all out with the theme! His favorite gift had to be the cowboy hat and the harmonica from his Nana and Pop!

Red and Blue Weekend! We met Eli!!!

Hi everyone! I am new to "blogging" but I have been inspired by so many of the fantastic blogs i have looked at recently! (Haley's and Abby's!) I just love being updated by reading the blogs, so I decided to try one out for our family! Its the end of a beautiful day! Beckett and i spent all afternoon finger painting his "tent" (a cardboard box) and digging in the sand. Here are some pictures from our Red and Blue weekend. We had the privilege of meeting Eli Manning. Beckett reached down and grabbed Eli's hand and shook it. It was hilarious! Here are some pics from the field. I think we have a football player on our hands!
